Payroll and Benefits Coordinator buy in US, Free Classifieds Ads

Taco Time NW is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator at our Corporate Headquarters in Renton, WA. The individual in this position will coordinate various human resources, benefits and payroll programs and procedures for all company employees. This individual maintains the internal HR and payroll records, gathers internal payroll and benefits information, communicates with benefits and payroll providers to add and delete participants, and compiles reports as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Responsibilities:
Assures accurate and timely processing of all aspects of payroll for employees, including enforcing time reporting, calculating pay, working with payroll provider etc.
Order and process employee pay cards.
Maintains and updates corporate incentive program with current targets and financial data.
Prepares and distributes monthly incentive reports to operations and key corporate personnel.
Reviews and reconciles pay period, quarterly and annual tax reporting.
Prepares and submits Washington L&I quarterly reports.
Reviews annual W-2 preparation and filing.
Benefits Responsibilities:
Works with the benefits broker to administer employee benefits programs, such as medical and dental benefits and 401(k) retirement benefits, and schedules employee enrollment meetings.
Ensures accurate employee benefits enrollment/changes and resolves issues regarding enrollments by adding /deleting employees; changing coverage; tracking employee eligibility and ordering enrollment cards; making decisions related to coverage cancellation etc; communicates directly with carrier on these issues.
Coordinates and distributes all necessary and required materials for the benefits plan to employees, including maintaining current updated form and benefits packets.
Assures accurate and timely processing of all transactions supporting employee benefit plans: medical, dental and 401(k) Section 125, including monthly reconciliation of service provider billings by corporation. Provides data to TPA as necessary.
Pays premiums and reconciles benefits statements.
Performs tasks related to compensation and benefits and tracking of related records.
Sets up unemployment systems and works with TPA to assist in managing claims.
Handles 5500's benefits discrimination testing, and other benefits-related administrative tasks.
Provides information as needed to PMSI, such as data for EEO-1 and/or VETS filings; Affirmative Action plan data; and payroll/benefits census data.
Communicates monthly COBRA information to PMSI.
Maintains personnel files and records including employee, confidential, and benefit files and restaurant schedules.
Keeps I-9 binder up to date and completes I-9s accurately.
Updates employee and manager information in the online performance review program.
Researches, prepares reports, and gathers HR and other data as needed by management. Notifies PMSI of leaves of absence and tracks leaves including FMLA and other time restricted absences.
Other duties as assigned.
Two or more years of payroll and benefits experience.
Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
Experience in Microsoft Office programs with strong Excel skills.
Excellent written and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Able to work in a high volume and constantly changing environment.
